Nira Liberman<\/h2>\n

Nira Liberman is a social psychologist in TAU since 2001. She\nearned a Ph.D. in Psychology from Tel Aviv University in 1996, was a\npost-doctoral research fellow in Columbia University and an assistant professor\nat Indiana University, Bloomington. She\nstudies the interface between motivation and cognition, the effects of\npsychological distance on motivation, mental representation, and decision\nmaking in both intra-personal and interpersonal settings. She also conducts\nresearch on Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, and in particular attempts to\nunderstand it in terms of a deficient access to internal states \u2013 including\none\u2019s own sensations, emotion, and preferences. Prof. Liberman received the\ncareer trajectory award from the Society of Experimental Social Psychology, the\nKadar award for excellence in research, and is the winner of the 2022\nRothschild prize. In addition, she is a fellow of the Association of\nPsychological Sciences and is a member of the Israel Academy of Sciences and\nHumanities. <\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/section>\n

Maayan Trzewik<\/h2>\n

Maayan is a fifth year PhD student at the School of Psychological Sciences. She received her BA in psychology and musicology at the Hebrew University and her MA in social psychology at Tel Aviv University. Her research\n is focused on face generalization \u2013 the ability to recognize faces in various contexts. She is mostly interested in the influence of social motivation and construal level on this ability.  <\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/section>\n

Guy Grinfeld<\/h2>\n

Guy is a fourth year PhD student at the School of Psychological Sciences, holding an MA in social psychology and a BA in psychology and philosophy, both from Tel-Aviv University. \n Roy <\/span>\n Shulman<\/span><\/b>\n <\/h2>\n

Roy is a second year PhD student, working both with Prof.\nLiberman and with Prof. Tal Eyal from Ben Gurion University. His research\nconcerns the perceived objectivity of moral actions. Specifically, he examines\nwhether the perceived objectivity of moral violations is dependent on\nattributes such as the moral foundation they might violate, individual\ndifferences regarding held moral foundations, and specific emotions associated\nwith the violations. <\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/section>\n

Ori Levit<\/h2>\n

Ori is a \u200bfirst year Phd student \u200bat the School of Psychological Sciences. She holds an MA in social psychology and a BA in psychology and management from Tel Aviv University. Her research interests are psychological scope, OCD, psychological text analysis and information seeking.
