19/5 | May Seminar: “Negative Migration from Israel – Patterns and Trends”

The Center for Population Sciences is pleased to invite you to the May seminar:

“Negative Migration from Israel – Patterns and Trends”

Since 2023, Israel has been experiencing negative migration balance, with tens of thousands of Israelis choosing to leave each year while fewer are choosing to return. This phenomenon, which continues to intensify, is taking place against the backdrop of a political crisis and an ongoing war. Leading experts in the field will address this concerning trend and attempt to answer several pressing questions:

– What is the scope of the phenomenon, and who are the Israelis leaving the country?
– What considerations motivated them to leave, and is the trend expected to continue?
– Is this phenomenon unique to Israel, or are there parallels elsewhere in the world?
– How does the trend manifest across different sectors of Israeli society?
– Is the trend likely to persist, and what are its implications for Israeli society and the economy?
