Project DEM-LOSS aims to understand how demographic processes shape exposure to family bereavement across the life course, how that experience varies between groups in society, and how it impacts how individuals feel, think, and act. It will employ a comparative research design between Israel and Sweden, two countries offering unique microdata drawing on population registers, administrative records, and nationally representative surveys.
